Preferred Automotive Group was started by Jay Leonard in 1989 as a small lot on Speedway Drive in Fort Wayne. Still family-owned, the dealership has grown into one of the area’s largest used-car operations, with hundreds of vehicles in stock and a 20,000 sq. ft. service facility at its Illinois Road location.

Every vehicle goes through a 96-point inspection in their service department before being offered for sale, and they specialize in 1-owner, zero-accident cars. Preferred Auto is a BBB Accredited business with an A+ rating and the only used-car dealership to ever win the BBB Torch Award for Integrity.
